Allied Ceramics Art Institute We are a non- profit community studio that provides the space, equipment and support needed for ceramic arts. The studio offers outstanding artistic, educational, and collaborative opportunities in ceramic arts to everyone in the community at large. It is a resource for personal and professional development for everyone interested in ceramics, including children, inquisitive beginners, off and on hobbyists, collectors, and emerging and experienced artists. |

Community Colleges: There are four community colleges in the Sacramento area which all offer wonderful pottery (wheel throwing) and sculpture classes. Cosumnes River College (instructor Yoshio Taylor) and Sacramento City College (instructors Escobel and Schumacher) are in the south Sacramento area, American River College is in
