THEshow is The Center's new 2nd Saturday event, showcasing the art of local emerging artists in what is sure to become one of the most talked about recurring events in Sacramento. Raku Party — We have 2 barrel kilns... and two expert advisors (Laura Knepple and Lorelee Love) We plan on having a lot of fun, share some knowledge and hopefully create some beautiful art.... If interested... you will need a couple of bisque pieces..... that are not delicate or fussy... something we can grab with ease.... We have several glazes and most of the equipment that we need but more is always better.... so if you have anything that will help make the day easier/better or just more fun.. please feel free to bring it... towels, gloves, trash cans.
