The Sacramento Potters Group, also known as Northern California ART by FIRE, is the oldest, continuously operating association of clay, metal, and glass artists in and around the Sacramento area. Our award-winning artists, all who use fire or extreme heat in the production of their original artwork, gather every other month to discuss art, view demonstrations, and enjoy the special camaraderie that exists between fellow artists.

Meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of every even numbered month at 7:00 PM. Meetings held in February, April, and October are held at the Shepard Garden and Arts Center, 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento, CA (off 33rd near H Street in downtown). Map

Meetings held in June, August, and December are held at the homes or studios of members; locations for these meetings will be announced in the Seconds Newsletter, posted on the calendar section of this website, or available from the Field Trip/Demonstration Coordinator.
